SAGITTAL

Sagittal appliances have been in use in Europe for over fifty years. They are used in the pre-orthopedic phase of treatment. The two-way and three-way Sagittal are primarily used in the treatment of anterior crowding and wherever the cuspids are labially displaced. Corrections are made by activating the Sagittal screws. Retention is obtained through the use of Adam's clasps.
